I had a recent hard drive crash on my 2007 iMac. Took it to a local shop and they installed a new hd. To test it out, they did a fresh install of Snow Leopard and created a generic iMac user account. I decided to keep this fresh install instead of restoring from a back-up. After a week now of setting up my computer, I realized that I've still been using this generic iMac user account.
Opinion... should I just leave it or create a new personal user account? I'm the only user. Being a semi-novice... would I lose anything by creating a new account and deleting the generic account? Would I gain anything by using the same name as my old account (access to my iWeb stuff vs recreating my entire iWeb site, itunes account, etc)
