Recent pre-orders through AT&T?

Has anyone pre-ordered through AT&T since they brought back that option? I read somewhere that someone canceled his apple pre-ordered, ordered through AT&T, and was supposed to get it in 2-3 days. This happened recently, BTW.

My brother ordered from the AT&T site yesterday, it shipped today, he will have it tomorrow. My mom ordered from Apple Monday. I would like to tell her to cancel & order from AT&T but she's 67 & doesn't have much patience anymore so I think I'll just keep quiet.
