recent problem with YouTube & eBaums videos

Hey guys,

recently, when I go to watch a video on youtube or ebaums (using Safari), the video is extremely choppy. that is, it will stick on one frame for up to 10 seconds! The video plays smoothly when I constantly scroll up on my mouse while hovering over the video; a very strange and annoying solution!

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?

p.s. the videos play fine in Camino.

yes! scrolling down does nothing!
