Recently Resurrected Water Damaged iPhone-Update to 3.1.2 or leave well enough alone?

My iPhone recently took a plunge into a cup of water. I dried it out, and it's come back to life. Should I update to 3.1.2 or leave it alone?

To the best of my knowledge, as long as it's functioning normally in all other respects...why not?

Though, obviously, you are aware that if the liquid exposure indicator has been tripped Geniuses will just politely offer you the opportunity to buy a new phone should it died for good.

Personally I'd go for it, but it's up to you.
