I have recently updated my first gen macbook aluminum (13 non-pro) to 10.6.6

I have noticed that preview does not preview many of my files (.wmv .mkv). is there a way to get preview to expand its capabilities?

Edit: after doing some reading...is there a multiclutch that works with snow leopard?

Preview is for opening image files like jpeg, tiff, pdf. Are you confusing Preview with QuickLook? QuickLook is accessed by highlighting a file in Finder and tapping the space bar. It will show you the document, picture, QuickTime-compatible video/audio, in Finder without having to launch an application. As a follow-up, what is multiclutch?

i meant QuickLook. It wont open soem video formats.

Also, check out Multiclutch

it allows you to assign keystrokes (especially with the multi-touch trackpad).
