If it doesnt fit, you can do a few things:

1. Purchase the Belkin headphone adapter for iPhone (its $9 and lets you plug any headhones in)

2. Clip the plastic around the headphone connector on your headphones lightly with a pair of scissors or a knife to strip away the plastic, allowing the headphones to insert properly.
