Hi,

After checking out the iPad and iPad mini at Apple Bullring, I've decided to go for the iPad mini. I like the fact it's small and compact whilst I can still do all the things I want and not have the weight of the iPad.

Anyway, having it is one thing but getting it is quite the other :p.

I'm in London all week from tomorrow, do you think the Apple shop will have them? I've John Lewis, Argos etc and they're all out of stock.

I don't mind waiting after Christmas but I don't really want to.

Any idea where I can go to get one? Many thanks!

Hmmm the 16gb is the most in demand capacity even though you loose 3gb straight away with the OS.

I think its a matter of luck really or just pre-order and wait until possibly after Christmas, you can always cancel your order if you get lucky in the mean time.

Order online slightly after 10pm (not sure if this is EST or local time zone) and make it for next day in-store pick-up.

You might have to try to add it to your cart a few times before they allow it.

Did this twice already and the iPad was available for pickup the next day.

I don't know how more people don't know about this.

You can't do this in the UK, its a US option only.

Ahh.. I didn't even think about that. Sucks.

There are still a lot of threads I see from people in the US who are asking how to get a Mini.

I wish that was an option over here, it would be very popular I'm sure!...that and Applecare+ which we also don't get!
