Hi,
I just encounter a strange behavior from the Finder, which refuses to recognise a newly burnt DVD (or for that matter, an old DVD).
I rencently burned a DVD (datas only) with Toast (V.8X).
After the burning I mounted the DVD just to check if all the datas where there, and they were. Then, I ejected the disk and proceeder with another (with verification thereafter)
Yesterday I needed some data on «that burned DVD», but the Finder did not seem to recognise de disk and told me that it was empty Which I knew was not the case! (I check it out on an older G4, which mounted de DVD without anu fuss)
Why, then, suddenly, does the Finder refuse to mount or recognise à a DVD? That's a terrible pain!
Thanks for any solution!
I'm on a MacPro Dual Core Intell Xeon
Processor speed 2GHz
2 Processors
L2 Cache (4 MB)
Memory 2GB, Bus speed 1.33 GHz,
with a Sony DVD RW DW-D150A (interconnect: ATAPI)
I don't know what else to add
