I just got 4 HomePod Minis and I set them up, turned on personal requests, etc. If I ask Siri who I am, she correctly says my name. However, the two other people I have invited to my Home have the setting for “Recognize my voice” grayed out like so:

Nothing I do seems to enable this. They are signed into iCloud, have 2FA turned on, location is being shared from “This Device” on their phones, ”Hey Siri” is on on their phones (I’ve even toggled it off/on and had them re-train). Langauge is set to “English (United States)” everywhere. I have even removed and re-invited them to my Home.

Am I missing something? What else can I try?

I upgraded my wife's phone from 13.7 to 14.2 and then things seemed to work... not sure what the issue was

What about intercom notifications on the rest of your home members? Everyone but me only has the “NEVER” option. I’ve tried everything as well and I can’t figure it out!
