So, Im about to move from a 1TB Mac to a 2TB Mac, and I need recomendation on a external drive for my Time Machine backups. Currently I am on a WD 1TB external, but thats not gonna hold 2TB of Storage, I want to be ready for it, as I am already with the 1TB full.

Oh, my only wich is that is a great looking drive.

I've been very pleased with this model in various capacities, from Other World Computing (OWC):

I use G-Tech Drives for several years now and have found them to work very well. Very reliable too. Just another option for you to look over.

I picked this puppy up at target for 119$ a few days ago:

It's the seagate 3TB external "expansion" hard drive. It's self powered (not bus powered), and USB 3.0. I am using it for media storage, and then backing up using Crashplan. I have had no issues whatsoever, and the price tag was fantastic. Also, go with the one DOESN'T say mac on it. They charge an extra 20$ for the apple logo, it's the same darn drive all the way down to the controller.
