I'd appreciate suggestions for a dock for a rMBP13 2015 that can

* power and charge the Macbook
* drive a 4k at 60hz monitor
* wired Ethernbet
* usb-a connections - occssional sdcard reader, graphics tablet, CDROM, maybe keyboard and mouse

You'll need a thunderbolt 2 one for 4K at 60hz.

What if it says display port? Is there a minimum version eg 1.2?

Although I have seen very few of these around and it's usually thunderbolt 2 using DP1.2a protocol.

HDMI is still only doing 30ghz until HDMI 2.0 is released. If you can find one with that then all good.
 
I'm currently using a henge dock for my 2015 13"

The sd card slot is on the top now making it very easy to access.

Works perfectly.

You would need a thunderbolt to ethernet adapter for wired network.
I use the apple MD463LL
