I just recently switched from PC to a Mac Pro and would like to pick up a good book that explains how to use this beast and it OS.

I want to read through it and learn how to best utilize all the functions of the MP and it's OS and then I want to set the book next to the computer and pick it up anytime I have a question or problem. I really don't want to have to drive 45 minutes everytime I have questions to talk with one of the Genius'.

I used this one, it's great:

The Missing Manual by David Pogue

It has tons of info and tips about just everything you need to get started.
I think it's worth the money. Every time a friend switches I lend them the book.

Switching to the Mac also by David Pogue

I don't have this one, but it seems that it will help you with files and tell you which Mac app is the equivalent to the Windows apps you might have used.

Not sure if you need that.
