Recommend a monitor for a blackbook

Hi,

I am in the market for an external screen for my 2008 black macbook. I have a cable to go from mini-dvi to dvi and one to go to hdmi.

I want a monitor that is 27" and can support the blackbook resolution. IPS would be nice.
