i did some searches here but what is the thinking in the last 6mo or so on the best NAS solution for a home network with raid5
-populate with 2TB drives, htfs+ format 7200rpm
-4 or more slots
-something with a migration path to larger hard drives >2TB

is direct connect the best option

Snow Leopard server on a mac mini
