Please recommend a text editor app

Background: I store a ton of important stuff in plain text files in a subdirectory of my Dropbox directory. I routinely backup this directory using Git. This is how I move and sync information between multiple computers (Mac, Linux, and Windows) and my iPhone.

For a long time (at least a year), I have been using PlainText v1.7.7 on my iPhone 5 to edit text files in Dropbox. Unfortunately, the new versions of PlainText lack several crucial features, and I just bought an iPhone 6 Plus.

Features I Want:
  1. Syncs with Dropbox
  2. Syncs with only a subdirectory of Dropbox, not the whole thing
  3. Ability to manually force a sync at any time
  4. Handles conflicts by creating a duplicate file, not by throwing away one set of changes without warning

Here Are About 100 Possible Apps:

List of like 100 apps.

That's a ton of possibilities. Please help me narrow it down. Are some of these really good? Really bad?

Thanks.
