Recommend me a PC graphics card compatible with the 23" ACD

Having just bought a 23" ACD for my Mac, I was also wanting to run it on my old PC that I still use for games (currently has Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card). I thought from checking the specs beforehand that the Radeon 9700 would work with the ACD, but it doesn't - I just get a load of multicoloured vertical lines rather than a display.

So, I'm looking for a recommendation for a new card: AGP interface, preferably sub-$200 (£100), reasonable 3d performance (comparable or better than my current card), will work with the 23" ACD. Help me, MacRumors hive mind!

p.s. I have searched (here and with Google), couldn't find anything!

You'll need WinACD.
A 7600GS / GT is in your budget. It'll beat out the standard display adaptor in the so-called 'Pro' for a start.

Downloaded WinACD, thanks. Will check out the 7600 series cards - anyone got any ATI-based recommendations as alternatives?
