I'm looking to get a small, portable mouse for my iBook with two buttons and a scrollwheel. I'd also like it to be bluetooth. I found a few nice ones by Logitech and Kensington, but all have a proprietary wireless connection.

Any recommendations?

Don't buy the Bluetake mouse. I own one. It's not worth it. I'd wait for MacMice. The Bluetake mouse (for me) tends to stop tracking after a while. Then you have to turn it off and back on to get it to resume tracking. Their tech support told me it was my mouse pad but I haven't found a color it enjoys... *shrug* and it seems to occasionally (rarely) shoot my mouse cursor to the edge of the screen.

Why not get the microsoft BT mouse

Mine won't work on my windows machine, but it works great on my mac. It's not tiny, but it is portable....

Are you using the BT transceiver that ships with the mouse or the transceiver internal to the Mac?

internal in PB 12"

I already had a BT dongle on my PC, for things like cell phone and PDA syncing, which is what lead to the mouse not working with the PC.

Works fine with the internal PB BT radio.

I actually used a friend's Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse, it worked very well, and was fast enough to play UT 2003. I used the built-in bluetooth adapter in my powerbook. I just mainly use the trackpad, since it isn't bad for most purposes.
