I have used a notes/stickies widget in my Dashboard since forever. I was called k-notes. Sadly, when I upgraded to El Capitan, k-notes was destroyed (it's abandonware, hasn't been updated in years). It's gone. So I need a replacement. Here are what I would like - and which k-notes had:

1)I can create unlimited stickies with ease - in k-notes, every sticky had a "+" sign in the bar and clicking on that would generate a new sticky. No need to go to dashboard and call out a new instance of a sticky - it's right there in the widget. Simplicity itself. I can then place the various stickes as I like in dashboard.

2)The stickies can be easily adjusted for size - in k-notes, I'd just grab a corner and make the sticky as big or small as I wanted

3)Minimize function - in k-notes, every sticky had in its bar a "-" sign (right next to the "+" sign), and clicking on this would collapse that particular sticky into a one line (clicking again, would expand it)

That would be the minimum. K-notes in addition had a nifty feature that you could pick the color of the sticky as well as the font on the note, but I'm not expecting such niceties from just a basic widget.

Free would be nice, but I'm willing to pay, like up to $10.

I like the widet because I can invoke it with one click in dashboard, otherwise it stays off the desktop.

Thank you!
