Recommend older Mac Pro for my needs

Hey guys! I plan to get a Cannon HV20 to record about 15 minutes of podcasts. Right now I have a 15" 2.2 Core2Duo MBP but I'm looking for something more powerful to edit the video. I want to buy a refurbished/used Mac Pro to run Final Cut and be able to edit the HD video smoothly. My budget is $2200. Can you recommend a system?

There are a couple problems with the request, one is that maybe this forum doesn't have that much traffic, and another, there's some risk in making a recommendation.

Personally, I'd go with the second one. It's faster & bigger at everything except front side bus speed, one 1.66GHz FSB vs two 1.33GHz FSBs.

Hey. I personally would go the Refurbished 2.8GHz Quad Core as it is the 2008 Mac Pro and has a higher spec for the price, then buy some extra ram with your extra $200 budget.
