Hi, I need to buy a set of Travel Speakers for my 4th Gen iPod. They need to be relatively compact in design so that they take as little space as possible in my rucksack. They also need to be just loud enough for a tent/hostel room or sitting around a camp fire/BBQ, but not so loud that they drown out any conversation! It's also important that they can run on batteries and from the mains! :D

I've browsed the Apple online store and Amazon for some ideas, but there are just too many models! So can somebody recommend some for me?

Thanks, Andrew

I'd go to the apple store, find ones that are small enough for your tastes, then play some of your music through them and find the one whose sound YOU like best. Also, if it's loud enough to hear in a busy store, in a quiet room, it should be plenty. Turn it down if it's drowning out conversation...
