Hello!

Just a quick question.

What USB Microphone would you recommend?

It needs to be good for Freelance Voice Acting mainly, but should sound as good on "live"
applications such as Ventrilo, Skype, etc.
Preferably very high quality, but relatively cheap. I'm talking under $100 (Aus) dollars.
Second hand is fine, but it still needs to be working the same.
A desktop USB condensor mic, as cheap as you can get but great for Voice Acting would be perfect.

Thanks! :)

My daughter recently wanted a USB microphone to use with her laptop when Skyping. For a birthday present I purchased a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone. She is delighted with it and I can testify as to its quality of audio reproduction.

I like Logitech USB microphones. But if you are looking for quality for acting purposes etc I would rather go for an USB or firewire interface and a proper microphone. Audio Technica produces some goods one not so expensive. Take a directional dynamic microphone (like the singers on stage ie Shure SM58).
