Using a 2015 13" MBP with what I believe is a 60w MagSafe 2 connector. I see the Apple adapters are around $80. Are there any reliable/safe cheaper options?

I'd like a second one for flexibility.

Thanks,
Chris

If you want a reliable/safe one you should get the official one. You can probably save a few dollars getting an off-brand one, but there's never going to be a guarantee of absolute certainty like when using an official charger (Worst case if the charger is bad from Apple, they have no excuse but to blame themselves).

I use one that is $30+ on Amazon. I forget the brand, but it is bulky like and old laptop power supply. Since I only leave it under my desk, I have no issues with the size. It runs very cool and does not have the heating issues that some of the compact 3rd party ones that look like Apple's do.
