Hi there!

I’m looking for a nice small case/wallet that I can use to store a small number of gadgets when I’m travelling with a bag pack. I’m thinking mainly of day hikes when I want things to be organised neatly in my pack.

The main items I’ll be using it for are AirPods, a portable battery (iPhone size), a cable, and just other little bits.

Any recommendations based on experience or other would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If I don't need padding, then a slide-lock 1qt plastic bag works great. Fairly water-resistant, too. Bags labeled "freezer bags" are usually made of thicker plastic, if that matters.

If I need a little padding, put the plastic bag in a spare sock. Use different sock colors to indicate what's inside.

I use a rollup tech organizer and a dry bag when taking my gear hiking or trekking.

Unfortunately, JanSport no longer makes the organizer I use but I have had good experiences with drybags made by SealLine, Sea to Summit, and Outdoor Research.
