Recommendations for GPU upgrade for MacPro 3.1 running Mojave 10.14.6 (dosdude upgrade)

Hi everyone, I’m new here & need your help with recommendations for a GPU for my dosdude upgraded (Mojave 10.14.6) 2008 MacPro 3.1. I’m mostly using this machine for music production (Logic Pro X) currently my machine has the original Radeon GPU with 256MB. Obviously, it’s getting sluggish due to unsupported OS Upgrades. I’m looking into GTX-780 & flash it. I would definitely want it to have metal support & preferably boot support. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
