Recommendations for sync software.

I'm basically looking for software that can sync a specific folder on my desktop PC to a Macbook. Is there any piece of software that does this quick and painlessly and runs in the background (so I don't have to click a button that says SYNC, but can if I want to, since it runs scheduled syncs)? What are YOUR recommendations if you were in a similar situation?

Preferably it can sync over a wireless network.

Also, if it's of any consequence, the computers I will be syncing the Inspiron 530 to would be just a Macbook Pro 13"...
