Recommendations for USB to DVI adaptor

Trying to find a USB adaptor to hook up a second monitor to my macbook for my home office. Running a 22" off the mini-DVI port now, and have the macbook up too, but I would really prefer to have two monitors the same size. I've found a couple, but reviews have the resolution sitting just below 1080, so there is some distortion. Any recommendations?

A quick Google search shows that you'll likely have to spend about $100 or more for that adaptor.

It's not really an adaptor, but an external video card.
