I'm looking for a cool audio editing software which is light-weight, capable of recording and multi-track editing, powerful while easy to use......

I know there's Apple Soundtrack Pro, and I tried it at the apple store, I think that's just too heavy for my 1.67 pb... Starting and processing takes too long...

I know there's Deck(yeah, that's light-weight compared to Soundtrack pro), and after a try out I think that's just a little sophisticated for me since I'm no expert in audio editing, so I may not make good use of some "high-end" functions...

Thanks everyone, I know my explaination maybe a little confusing..... but thanks, all the same.

Have you tried Audacity? Open Source, cross platform audio editing app. I'm no expert on the subject but it sounds like it does everything you need it to and it's easy enough to use. I haven't tried any of the pro apps for music on mac so I don't know how it compares but as it's free no harm in trying!
