Hi,

I am going through the process of setting up bootcamp and i would like to know how many GB i should allocate to windows? I have a new macbook pro 15inch. I will be installing the 64-bit windows 7 and intend to use it for Revit and autocad.

I would appreciate it if anyone can recommend how much space to allocate?! As I have no clue on these things.

Thanks!

It may be difficult for us to advise since we don't know how many large files you might be saving in autocad.

If you don't have a good idea of what partition size to go with, you might want to install VM Fusion or Parallels rather than Bootcamp. Those programs can dynamically alter the partition size as needed.

There are discounts frequently available for Parallels, usually at $39 or $49.
