Recommended external card reader?

My camera is really temperamental with my iMac so I'm looking to get an external card reader. Just wondering what you guys use as there's lots out there but I'd rather get one that I know will work OK with the Mac?

In my case I needed one fast and the only place convenient for me was Wal-Mart. I bought the ONLY model for sale, which also happened to have Mac support. It has worked perfect with no complaints. It is a Sandisk SDDR-89 VR. It was $27. It reads all the major card types. Your card will show up on the desktop as a virtual hard drive.

What kind of card you have?
