Recommended external DVD burner ?

I wish I had a good answer for you - unfortunately, I have the same question.
I keep thinking about the LaCie +/-RW drive with Toast 6.0 Titanium (which I have a real need for), but even with the software $239 seems like an awful lot. I know I probably couldn't buy Toast and any other external DVD burner for that kind of money, but it still seems like too much.

Forget the rest, go with the best 
If you don't enjoy the cost and frustration of expensive *coasters*, then go with the Pioneer. Excellent product and outstanding support.

Also, because it's so popular, there are many firmware hacks available for it eg to make your player region independent etc.
