Can any of you recommend any Mac diagnostic tools? I just want to make sure my Mac (bought in august 07) is running in tip-top peak shape!

Peace

If you mean system-monitoring tools, then i recommend istat pro. It is a widget where you can see CPU usage, memory usage, hard drive space, network etc. If you want to see if your hard drive is ok, use disk utility under the utilities menu.

eh, or something to check the macs volumes, folders, whatever to make sure everything looks OK. I'm coming from windows, so pardon the dopey question.

I like Onyx. The link is for the latest version, which is designed for Leopard. If you're still using Tiger, scroll down to "Download links" for that version.
