is this alright memory?

anything to be afraid of (will purchase from Circuit City Black Friday)?

i am not a gamer or a graphics intensive person... though i would like video streams and feeds (after i get cable broadband connected)...

2nd question: after i max my RAM (1.25 Gb) any problems connecting a 19" external monitor? though i'll probably get a 17" instead of a 19"...
