recommended software for my mac?

im getting my blackbook pretty soon...so what programs do u highly suggest that i should use?

as of now i will be downloading:

neooffice
adium
istat pro

basically..ill just be surfing the net...doing schoolwork...going on msn....
if theres anything ud recommend let me know and what it does...

i dont want programs that i wont be using or have no use for...thanks...
