Record a/v from internet?

Is there a free app that will allow me to record audio and/or video from the internet?

On Windows 7, I used Audials 8 and Freemake.

If you want to save embedded videos from websites, try xVideoServiceThief or ClipGrab. As for recording audio, try Soundflower + Quicktime Player (File>New Audio Recording) or Audacity. If you want to record your screen, use Quicktime Player (File>New Screen Recording).
