iOS record audio and pipe to server

I'd like to build a simple iphone app that allows me to podcast from my iphone. I would record audio from the mic and stream it up to a shoutcast/streamcast/icecast server.

Can somebody point me in the right direction? There's plenty on streaming audio from a server, but nothing I can find about streaming to a server.
