Obviously, the Apple Watch has a microphone and it seems to be a good one too. When I use it for calls people say they can hear me perfectly. It would be very useful to be able to record your surroundings from the watch. There seem to be apps available to remote control recordings from your watch, but I believe the iPhone would be doing the actual recording. Anyone know if Apple has allowed third parties to use the microphone to record?
