The Land of Hope and Glory
I need to record things on my desk (from above) with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and was wondering if anyone had any tips for doing so using the least amount of money possible.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

Does the iPhone need to be hidden (because you want to record what someone else is doing at your desk)?
Do you need some kind of motion detection (so it's not recording continuously, just when there is movement detected)?

It will be me recording myself using various electronics such as building circuits and other things. It'll just be my hands that will be filmed and no one else, so I'm just looking for something simple. I can record continuously. That is no problem.

You could use a desk mount with arm. Something like this : https://amzn.to/3QC9A9R

Alternatively you could try DIY something yourself with two arms, linked with a pole across the top and a smartphone mount.
