I have got one of those Eye TV cards for my Mac book Pro laptop. I previously bought a Scart to phono lead from Maplins to record from my set top box & Sky Receiver which worked fine & I was able to view & record a program from my Sky receiver onto my laptop however I have tried to do it again and it doesnt seem to work again and I have tried everything. Anyone got any ideas where I may be going wrong? I basically running a scart from the back of the Sky receiver (where the TV scart normally goes) into TV card female leads. As I said I have done it before so I know it works but its now got me scratching my head.

I know its lower quality, but you could try recording from the RF out (ariel skt).
Side note (not trying to hi-jack the thread, honest, BUT) anyone know how to get stuff off of my sky+ box without using a TV card, or a screwdriver and some luck?
