iPod touch Record iPod Touch Audio

I would like to record my iPod Touch output audio in high quality (aka, capture it straight from the source). Does anyone know how to do this either on the ipod itself, or by connecting it to a computer? Ideally, I would want to record the screen and audio together, but since that does not seem possible, I will just record the screen and audio separately and put them together. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
