Record Phone to Mini Recording Device

I have an Olympus recording device, a small mini recorder i use to record messages to myself; it works great. I transfer to my MacBook via USB.

I would like to occasionally record phone conversations for my online business so i don't forget stuff. Is there a way to do this, just from a regular phone or from my Motorola cell phone? Thanks so much for any replies.

if the recorder has a mic input there are microphones that stick to the back of the phone with a suction cup.

but, be aware of the laws in your area, it is probably illegal to record someone without their knowledge or permission, so make sure, at the very least, you tell them that you are recording.
