That doesn't record sound though.

You can select either internal mic or audio-in, so yes, it does in fact record audio as well. Select Screen recording and click the small drop-down box icon next to the record button and it'll let you choose
 
I think he/she wants to record the sound from the system, like if you recorded yourself watching a video on youtube, the recording would include the youtube sound.

I know what you mean. QT can do that but you must have volume turned up quite a bit so it's hearable in the video.
 
Heh, what about running an 1/8" cable from audio out to audio in on the Mac? With a headphone splitter you could also listen to it at the same time too!
