Record Screen Movements

Does anyone know of a programme that could record what i am doing on my screen, so that i could then send that to my mother to show her how to do things, or just a selection of the screen?

If you can use a VNC to remotely control her computer that may be more useful. I think that the feature you're looking for is in the next iChat.

there are several programs mentioned through the comments, hope you find one that suits you, I had though of robodemo from macromedia (now adobe captivate 2) but there's no mac version

yeah, i had a look at this, but $70 is an awful lot for such a program

I have screenflow. I am not happy with the video quality of the screen recording. I'd go for one of the alternatives suggested.

Give iShowU a try. Best screen capture app hands down in my opinion.
