Hey,

My dad recorded some video with his iPhone 4S but you can barely hear anything over the wind despite it sounding fine in real life. My guess is the wind is blowing directly over the mic and it's picking it all up... is that normal? And what kind of solution is available for this?
 
That's a problem all mics have.

The best solution would be to get a standard size mic windscreen. The iPhone should fit snugly inside. Just leave the camera exposed and you should be good to go.
