I record a video in landscape mode, when I play it back on the phone it keeps rotating when I put the phone in landscape mode to watch it as it was recorded. Also, when I store to my Mac it is vertical instead of horizontal. Any idea what’s going on?

The accelerometer malfunctioned when you originally recorded the video.

iOS 13.2 provides video aspect ratio / crop tool under the edit menu where you can rotate the video as well.
Thank you. There is a sound glitch too sometimes. It doesn’t automatically play the sometimes unless you turn the volume up and down? Thanks for the info.

In some situations it’s expected. Just depends on the situations.

That’s by design. You can either press volume buttons or tap on a speaker icon at the bottom. It is muted by default.
