Hi,

I have a PowerMac plus an Axis 221 IP camera that provides it's signal thru an Ethernet cable. The provided software is PC only, so I was searching for a recording method. The output format can be
1. motion-jpeg - I do see the video feed thru Safari
2. MPEG -4 - if I chose this output format, Quicktime starts, but the screen is blank. In other browsers too

Ideally I'd need a surveillance software that can recognize the input signs from the ethernet cable, but in the worst case, any recording software is OK so I'd record just about anything and delete on a weekly basis.

Could someone possibly help how to record the camera images to the computer?

I've already installed BTW's www.bensoftware.com surveillance software, but it does not recognize the camera as an input source.

Thanks for your help
