Recording HD video with FaceTime camera

Is there a way to record HD video using the 2011 MBP's FaceTime HD camera? PhotoBooth seems to be recording low-res video only.

According to Apple: 720p.

Only FaceTime shoots in 720p.

Photo Booth still needs to be updated.

Open QuickTime X > go to File > New Movie Recording

Then select the arrow next to the full screen button and select either high or maximum quality.

Or you can record straight in iMovie by clicking the camera button in the middle bar on the left hand side and set it to 720p.
