Recording in GarageBand with iTunes?

Hey guys. I need some advice on something. I have a choir group that needs to record some songs on a cd. I am currently running with an iMac G5 w/built-in iSight. I don't have much time or money to go all out and purchase equipment and I know I could use the mic that is built-in. I already know the quality won't be as good but could anyone give me some pointers on how I could at least get the recording to sound decent enough to put on a cd?

Any advice would be great. Thanks!
