Hey folks,

I have an electric piano with 1/4" and MIDI outputs. I'd like to record from the piano onto my iPhone, transfer to my PC (via email is ok), and burn to a CD. I don't need any fancy mastering tools or $500 hardware, just looking for a decent quality way to accomplish this.

Any thoughts about good hardware/apps to make this happen?

Thanks.

What are you recording on the iPhone, MIDI data or audio data? It makes a huge difference on what the next steps are.

Also, are you doing just one straight through recording, not editing. Are you doing any multi track recording.

Which iPhone App are you using?

How are you connecting the e-piano to the iPhone?

If you tell people more about what you are doing you will get specific answers rather then general answer about recording. My first thought about this is "Why are you using an iPhone and not recording directly to the computer?"
