HI Thanks i have created the file i need using Jing but it is in flash format I now need to be able to edit this in final cut express so i need to convert or re create the file in compatible format

You could try VNC2SWF (just what a quick google search found) and the Mac OS X Leopard screen sharing! (I don't know if this is what you want though... looks like you gotta compile it!)
