Recording sound directly from DVD?

I was playing around with GarageBand the other day, and I wanted to put a line in from a movie I was watching, into a GarageBand song i was messing around with. Is there any way to directly record sound being played, without having to say play through the speakers and then recording it through the iMacs internal mic?

Thanks dejo. I did a search earlier but didn't find that post. While nothing that records straight to GarageBand, the line-in w/DVD player seems kind of neat, and some of the programs seem promising.

EDIT: Just downloaded AudioHijack. It worked perfectly. Just played the DVD and recorded a snippet in realtime
